One thing that every internet user is aware of is Google. Whether it is search, email account, Google Plus (social networking) or android, everything by Google is so damn popular. When it comes to voip technology (voice and video calling), then Google is no way behind. Google’s very old Gmail chat is probably the most used chat client. Its advanced version Gtalk (the application for chat on PC and mobile phones) is used by almost all.
Infact if you are using an Android mobile, then Gtalk may come by default in your mobile. Now talking about video calling facility by Google – its one of the best in the industry. Google Video calling service comes under the banner of Google+ Hangout. If you are using an Android mobile phone, then you must have noticed an application called “Google Hangouts” in your phone. It is basically the text/voice/video chat client which you are using.
Google Hangout is one of the best app for video calling – a must to use app. In my opinion better than Skype and Tango.
Google+ Hangout Feature
Bring your conversations to life with photos, emoji, and even group video calls for free. The below video demonstrates how good it is.

Group Chat
Whether you’re talking just with that special someone or figuring out Friday night plans with the whole gang, Hangouts are like real-life conversations. You can show photos and share how you’re feeling with emoji.
Get together over Video and Voice
Sometimes you just need to laugh out loud. Turn any Hangout into a live video call with up to 10 friends or simply choose a contact to start a phone call from your computer. Who says you can’t be together even when you’re not?
Everyone is using Hangout
Don’t worry about what kinds of computers and phones your friends use. Hangouts works across computers and on Android phones and tablets, iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. So you can connect with everyone, and no one gets left out.
Live Stream from Google Hangout
- Schedule broadcasts and go live in HD on Google+, YouTube, and your website. It will be recorded and automatically saved on your YouTube channel.
- Host interactive conversations with people around the world. Take questions in advance from the community and answer the most popular ones live.
- Control when your participants are visible, adjust their audio and video, select who’s on the big screen, add custom banners, and more.

Google hangouts is what I love for all my social interactions; but for my business meetings, I prefer using a more secured service named RHUB. Its web conferencing servers works from behind the firewall instead of outside of it; hence better security.
